My Friend Asked Twice

Dear Delyara, A friend asked if I was okay, and when I said “I’m fine,” she asked again. That second question nearly undid me. Some people really can hear when your first answer isn’t the truth. That is a gift. And if I am honest, it is one I needed more than I knew that day.
