GratitudeFriendship
My friend remembered enough of my emotional weather that I didn’t have to start from zero
Dear Delyara, I didn’t have to explain why a small thing wasn’t small. I didn’t have to give the whole history for the current mood to make sense. My friend already knew enough of the climate to understand the day. That saved me energy. And loneliness. I think being remembered kindly is one of the deepest forms of being loved. This week, I felt it.
