My husband confides in another woman before he speaks to me

Dear Delyara, My husband says there is no affair. I believe him physically. Emotionally, I no longer know. He messages a coworker throughout the day, tells her when he is anxious, shares news before coming home, and asks her advice about decisions that affect our family. I learned this when a message appeared while he was showing me a photograph. He did not hide the conversation. That somehow made me feel more foolish. He says she understands the pressure of his job and that I am turning friendship into suspicion. Perhaps I am. We still share a bed, raise children, and kiss goodbye. Yet I have become the person who receives the edited version after another woman has already held the first reaction. Last week, his father was admitted to hospital. He texted her from the car park before calling me. When I asked why, he said he knew she was awake. I was awake too, beside the phone, married to him. He apologised and promised clearer boundaries. Tonight, I heard his phone vibrate after midnight. He did not reach for it. Neither did I. The message remained between us, unopened and somehow already present in the room.
