My life keeps moving and I keep feeling less present inside it

Dear Delyara, That’s the part that frightens me. Not that I’ve stopped functioning. That I can still function so well while feeling increasingly absent from the experience of my own life. I answer, complete, continue, maintain. The structure holds. But the interior has less spark, less arrival, less color. Burnout doesn’t always announce itself through collapse. Sometimes it arrives as a long quiet reduction in aliveness. I think that’s what I’ve been living in. And I don’t want to normalize it.
