The StruggleAnxiety
My mind keeps trying to catch danger before it exists
Dear Delyara, That is what anxiety feels like in me more than anything else. A kind of anticipatory intelligence that never fully rests. It scans for changes, rehearses possible pain, prepares for negative outcomes, and treats uncertainty like an active threat instead of an open space. By the time reality arrives, I’ve often already exhausted myself on what never happened. People say “don’t overthink” as if it is a simple switch. But overthinking in me is rarely curiosity. It is pre-emptive defense. And I am tired of living so far ahead of my own life.
