The UnknownUncertainty
My mind keeps trying to solve what hasn’t happened yet
Dear Delyara, Uncertainty makes my imagination overwork. I don’t sit inside not-knowing very well. I fill it. With scenarios, rehearsals, imagined conversations, emotional preparations, possible losses, possible explanations, possible ways I might need to survive something that doesn’t even exist yet. By the time reality arrives, I am already tired from all the futures I visited without permission. I know this isn’t helpful. It still happens. Uncertainty becomes emotional labor in me almost immediately.
