The StruggleStress
My mind stays crowded even when the room is empty
Dear Delyara, Stress follows me into empty rooms. That is how I know it is no longer just situational. I can be alone, technically off the clock, with nothing actively happening, and still feel mentally packed. Bills. timing. obligations. people’s moods. unfinished tasks. decisions. small future threats. I think the body starts believing pressure is its permanent climate after a while. Maybe that is what has happened to me. Rest feels close. Peace still feels far.
