The UnknownUncertainty

Not knowing keeps my whole body half-awake

Dear Delyara, Uncertainty does not stay in my thoughts. It enters my sleep. I feel it in the way I keep checking, replaying, anticipating, preparing. I feel it in the body’s inability to fully settle. It’s as if something remains unfinished and my nervous system refuses to stop monitoring the horizon until it is named. That’s why “we’ll see” is so tiring for me. It isn’t neutral. It’s labor. I wish uncertainty felt more open and less threatening. At the moment, it mostly feels like suspended danger.
