Numbers still know how to turn into shame before they turn into plans

Dear Delyara, That speed is what exhausts me most. I want the number to remain a number long enough for planning to begin. But too often it turns into something else first — proof, verdict, failure, accusation, atmosphere. It enters my emotional system before it enters my practical one, and by then I’m already having to do two jobs: handle the actual issue and handle the shame I glued onto it. That’s such an expensive way to live with money. I’m trying to build a different relationship to numbers now. One where facts do not instantly become self-judgment. But the older route still activates fast.
