Old University Notes in a Dust Box

Dear Delyara, I was moving some boxes in the spare room today and found my old marketing textbooks from my London university days. The margins were full of my own scribbles—grand plans for a luxury brand, launch strategies, sketches of logo designs. I sat on the floor with the dust settling on my jeans, looking at the confident handwriting of a twenty-one-year-old who thought the world was a map he could easily draw. Replacing that ambition with a security logbook feels like a betrayal I can't quite find the words to apologize for.
