One money problem can change my whole tone

Dear Delyara, I hate how fast it happens. I can be completely normal, making dinner, answering the children, trying to get through the evening, and then one message from the bank or one reminder about a payment changes the whole emotional temperature of my body. I become tighter, less patient, less generous in my mind, less able to enjoy anything simple. It isn’t because I’m greedy. It’s because money does not stay practical inside me. It goes straight into safety, self-worth, future fear, and shame before it even has time to remain a number. That is what exhausts me most. Not only the bill itself. What it does to the version of me my family gets afterward.
