Physical Abuse in Teenage Years
Dear Delyara, My father is always angry. Every time he comes home, it feels like he releases his anger on me. The blows I receive don’t just hurt my body—they break my heart. I can’t tell anyone because I’m afraid things will get worse. But every day, I feel myself sinking deeper. At school, I can’t focus. No one knows what’s behind my smile. I write this letter hoping that one day, someone will hear me and help me.
