Quiet Peace
Dear Delyara, My life is not perfect, but something inside me is calmer now. That sentence would have sounded impossible a few years ago. I used to live in constant internal noise. Regret, comparison, fear, urgency. Even in stillness, my mind was racing toward the next thing I had to fix in order to deserve rest. Now I have moments, sometimes whole afternoons, where I feel no need to chase or prove anything. I make tea. I sit by the window. I let a day be enough. No one sees this as an achievement because it does not look impressive. But for me, inner peace is not an aesthetic. It is a miracle built slowly, after years of surviving my own thoughts. And I am grateful for every quiet minute of it.
