The StruggleAnxiety

Silent Anxiety

Dear Delyara, I have not told anyone how bad my anxiety has become. They know I worry. They do not know I rehearse conversations before making simple phone calls. They do not know I sit in my car before going into places, trying to breathe like a normal person. They do not know that some nights I am so exhausted from thinking that I cry out of pure mental fatigue. Because I still go to work. I still show up. I still answer messages. So it doesn’t look serious. But inside, everything is loud.
