Some days I feel far away from everything

Dear Delyara, I still do the day. That’s what makes it hard to explain. I answer questions, turn up, do the shopping, sort the children, speak properly, respond when needed. Nothing dramatic collapses. But inside I can feel a distance between me and everything I am doing, as if I am participating through glass. Not numb exactly. Not okay either. That state scares me because it can pass as normal if you are competent enough. And I am competent enough. Too competent, maybe. Sometimes I think functioning has hidden how far away from myself I really am.
