Some days I feel like I am acting normal from a distance
Dear Delyara, I still do the day. That’s the difficult part. I answer the questions, go to work, make the food, say the right things, even laugh if needed. But inside, I can feel a gap between me and the life I’m moving through. Not a breakdown. Not a drama. Just a strange absence of closeness to my own actions. It’s like I’m present enough to function and too far away to feel fully alive in what I’m doing. That kind of mental tiredness is hard to explain because it leaves the outside of life mostly intact. It’s the inside that feels delayed.
