Some days I feel too far away from my own life while still doing all of it
Dear Delyara, I still do the job, answer the questions, cook the dinner, drive the route, say the right things, make the appointments, remember the details. Nothing visible collapses. From the outside I probably look fine enough. But inside, I can feel this strange distance. Like I am performing normal life from somewhere slightly behind myself. Present enough to function, not present enough to feel fully alive in it. That kind of mental tiredness is difficult because it doesn’t always ask for help in a dramatic voice. It just keeps going quietly until one day you realise you have not really felt close to your own days for a while.
