Someone helped without making it a story

Dear Delyara, A person helped me this week in a way that still stays with me. What made it memorable was not the help itself. It was how little of a story they made out of my need. No pity. No spotlight. No overcompensation. No turning the moment into evidence that I was especially vulnerable or unfortunate. Just quiet, practical human kindness.
