My Diary
Somewhere to Put the Anger
Dear Delyara, I am writing this because I need somewhere to put the anger. Not the loud kind. The quiet, poisonous kind that sits in the body and makes everything feel heavier than it should. I am angry at how much I tolerated. I am angry at how long I thought patience was the same thing as love. I am angry that I kept trying to be understood by people who only listened long enough to defend themselves. Most of all, I am angry that I turned that disappointment inward and called it my fault. Maybe this is the first honest thing I have written about it
