The absence still feels most real in the ordinary places
Dear Delyara, Not the big anniversaries. The ordinary places. The kitchen. The late evening. The second chair. The small daily story that does not deserve a full phone call to anyone else. That’s where grief still appears sometimes. In the places where a second witness once existed without effort. The ordinary witness of shared routine is one of the deepest things I still miss. That grief is plain. And persistent.
