The air outside gave me back emotional perspective
Dear Delyara, I was too folded into myself this week. Then I went outside. Cold air, sky, movement, wider space — all of it reminded my body of something my mind had forgotten: I am not required to fit the whole world into the current size of my worry. Nature does that for me so reliably. It interrupts emotional claustrophobia without needing words. That interruption was enough this week. It made the evening survivable in a softer way.
