The Architecture of Anxiety
Dear Delyara, My mind is a city that never sleeps, but all the lights are sirens. I spend my days waiting for a disaster that never comes, exhausted by a war that is only happening inside my head. I came here to find a ceasefire. I wrote a list of every "What If" that haunts me. Seeing them written down in black ink made them look smaller. They aren't giants; they are just words. I realized that I don't have to solve my whole life tonight. I just have to finish this page. As the ink dried, the sirens in my head began to fade into a hum. I am leaving the noise here. I am walking out into the quiet.
