The Body’s Prayer

Dear Delyara, My body feels like a house on fire lately. The chronic pain, the fatigue, the doctors who don't have answers—it makes me want to move out of my own skin. I came here to negotiate a peace treaty with my nerves. I wrote a letter of gratitude to the parts of me that still work, and a letter of forgiveness to the parts that hurt. I realized that my value isn't tied to my energy levels or my ability to "produce." I am worthy simply because I am breathing. The pen felt heavy in my hand, but the words felt light. I am learning to live in the house, even while it burns.
