The Body’s Recovery

Dear Delyara, I walked a mile today. To anyone else, that’s nothing. To me, after the surgery, it’s a marathon. I am celebrating the small victory. My body is a slow learner, but it’s a fighter. I am proud of these lungs and these legs.
