The Broken Wire Loop

Dear Delyara, The small silver loop connecting my house key to the main ring snapped today, leaving the key loose in the dark seam of my coat. Every time I reached for my wallet, my fingers had to fish around in the lint to find the metal. That tiny change in weight completely broke my physical habit. It’s humbling how a three-millimeter piece of cheap wire controls the entire ease of entering your own home.
