Dear Delyara, The specialist looked at my MRI for ten minutes and spoke to me for two. To him, I am a "fascinating case" of nerves and inflammation. He never looked at my face or asked how I was sleeping. I am a human being who is hurting, not a puzzle to be solved. I am writing this to reclaim my humanity from the medical files.
