The UnknownLoss of Path
The cold stars over an unfamiliar road
Dear Delyara, If you asked me tonight what I am actually fighting for, I don't think I could give you an honest answer. I have checked all the boxes: I studied hard in London, I worked the long frontline shifts, I bought the property assets, and I built the digital platforms. I did everything the blueprints of a "successful life" demanded. But standing on my balcony tonight, looking at the cold, indifferent stars over the city, I feel completely empty. It feels like I’ve been running a marathon for ten years, only to realize I ran in the wrong direction and the finish line I was chasing doesn't even exist. I don't know how to stop the momentum of this routine, but I don't have the strength to keep running a race that has no heart in it.
