The Colorless Morning

Dear Delyara, I’m mourning the person I was before the sadness took the color away. I found an old photo of myself today—I was laughing, my eyes were bright, and I looked so light. I don't recognize that person anymore. Depression didn't just take my happiness; it took my spark. I’m writing this letter to that girl in the photo. I’m sorry I lost you. I’m trying my best to find the way back to you, even if I have to walk in the dark for a while.
