The Day the Color Came Back

Dear Delyara, It was a Tuesday. I was walking to the grocery store, and I suddenly noticed how green the trees were. Not just "green," but a deep, vibrant, living color that I hadn't seen in a year. I stopped in the middle of the sidewalk and just looked up. For months, the world has been gray—a flat, dull movie. But today, the 3D glasses came off. I’m not "cured," and the sadness is still there in the background, but the world is beautiful again. I think I’m going to be okay.
