The Desert of 2 AM
Dear Delyara, The bed is a desert at night. I keep shifting to the middle so I don't feel the vast, empty space on the other side. Loneliness isn't just a thought; it’s a physical coldness. I’m writing this because I need to know that someone, somewhere, is also awake in their own desert. We are alone, but maybe we are alone together.
