The first step out of the shadows
Dear Delyara, The digital clock on my terminal screen reads 5:45 AM. My final rounds are completed, the security parameters are logged, and the keys are laid out on the desk for the day shift crew who are just arriving with their warm coffees and fresh clothes. I step out of the heavy glass doors into the crisp, cold morning air of London, taking a deep, chest-expanding breath of the early wind. My twelve-hour watch is officially over, and I am finally free to return to my own sanctuary, my own family, and my own independent creations. I can feel the fatigue pulling at my eyes, but beneath the exhaustion is an unshakeable, emotional sense of triumph. I survived another long night in the shadows, my integrity is completely intact, and I am stepping into the light of a new day, ready to keep building my legacy piece by piece.
