The memory came back, but it didn’t take my whole body with it

Dear Delyara, That is how I know healing is real now. There was a time when certain memories could take over physically — posture, breath, appetite, everything. This week an old memory returned, but I stayed more present in the current room than I used to. The memory touched me. It didn’t relocate me entirely. That shift is hard to describe to people who haven’t lived the difference. To me, it feels enormous.
