The Message Stayed With Me Longer Than It Should Have

Dear Delyara, Someone sent a dry, slightly cold message today, and I’ve carried it around for hours like it was a legal document. That is one of the things I dislike most about being this sensitive: the disproportion. The way a small thing can take up so much internal room. The way I can know, logically, that something is minor while still feeling it physically. I wish I were one of those people who can let tone slide off them. I’m not. I absorb too much. And then I get tired from holding things other people forgot they even dropped.
