The Noise in the Quiet

Dear Delyara, The "black dog" is back. It didn't bark; it just sat down on my chest while I was sleeping and made it impossible to get out of bed. I’ve been staring at the same spot on the ceiling for six hours. I can hear the neighbors laughing through the wall, and the sound makes me want to scream and cry at the same time. I feel like I’m at the bottom of a very deep well, and everyone is standing at the top looking at the sky, not even realizing I’m down here. I just want one day where my own brain doesn't feel like my worst enemy.
