The Noise of the City

Dear Delyara, London is loud. The trains, the sirens, the constant rush of people who don't know where they are going. Sometimes I feel like I’m being vibrating apart by the sheer speed of life. I came to Delyara to find the "Between." The space between the breaths. I wrote about the quiet things—the way the light hits the window, the taste of a good tea, the feeling of wool against my skin. I am reclaiming my right to be slow. I am not a machine; I am a person. I am leaving the rush outside.
