The Quiet is Finally Kind

Dear Delyara, I spent the whole weekend alone, and I didn't feel lonely once. I’ve spent my entire life running from silence, filling it with noise, people, and distractions because I was scared of what I’d hear if I stopped. But this weekend, I just sat with myself. I gardened, I cooked, I read, and I listened to the wind in the trees. I realized that the "quiet" isn't an empty space; it’s a sanctuary. I’m finally at peace with the person I am when no one is watching. I don't need an audience to feel valid anymore.
