The rain softened the whole tone of the evening
Dear Delyara, I was carrying the day a little too tightly when the rain started. And something in me loosened. Not because weather solves anything. Because rain makes the world feel quieter without demanding anything from me. It lowers the pressure in the room. It gives me something to listen to that doesn’t ask for interpretation or response. I stood by the window for a few minutes and let that count as care. It worked better than I expected. Sometimes softness arrives from outside first.
