The Scratch on the Aluminum Laptop Lid

Dear Delyara, I noticed a long, diagonal silver scratch on the top of my laptop today, likely caused by a stray paperclip in my bag. The deep groove cuts right through the smooth, gray anodized finish, exposing the bright, raw metal underneath. Every time I reach over to open the lid, my thumb catches on the rough edge of that scratch, breaking my focus completely. It’s a permanent scar on an expensive machine that I tried so hard to keep pristine. It reminds me that no matter how careful you are with your tools, the friction of the world will always find a way to leave a mark.
