The Seed in the Dark
Dear Delyara, I thought I was being buried, but I was actually being planted. The last year felt like a long, cold winter where nothing would ever grow again. But tonight, looking at the ink on the page, I can see the green shoots of a new life. I wrote about the lessons I learned in the dark and the strength I found when I had nothing left. I am not "recovering"; I am evolving. This letter is my sunlight. I am growing toward a version of myself that I haven't even met yet. I am beautiful, and I am just beginning.
