The Single Bridge

Dear Delyara, Being a single parent is like trying to row a boat with only one oar. You just keep spinning in circles, exhausted, while everyone on the shore tells you how "inspirational" you are. I don't want to be an inspiration today. I just want someone to hold the oar for five minutes so I can close my eyes and breathe without wondering if we’re going to sink.
