The Wind Helped More Than People Did

Dear Delyara, I went for a walk because I didn’t know what else to do with myself. I was restless in that specific way where staying indoors makes your thoughts louder. So I put on a coat and went outside without a plan. The air was colder than I expected. The trees were moving hard in the wind. The sky looked bigger than my life for once. And somehow that helped. Nature never asks me to explain. It never interrupts. It never tells me I’m overreacting. Sometimes being small in a big world is exactly the relief I need.
