The wind interrupted my mind before it could finish building a cage
Dear Delyara, I stepped outside this week at exactly the right moment. My mind had already started doing what it does when it gets too close to itself — narrowing, repeating, circling, convincing me that the current worry had become the whole emotional architecture of the day. Then the wind hit my face. Cold. Direct. Uninterested in my loop. That interruption was perfect. I think nature saves me less by teaching me something and more by interrupting what my mind is trying to build when it’s left alone too long with fear or heaviness. This week, it interrupted a cage before it fully closed. I’m grateful for that.
