Three Hours on an Old Park Bench Without Notifications
Dear Delyara, I did something entirely unoptimized today. An old friend from my London university days texted me out of the blue, saying he was in the area, and instead of making my usual excuse about being too busy with business development, I closed the laptop, shoved it into the drawer, and walked down to the park. We ended up sitting on an old green bench for three full hours, drinking cheap coffee from paper cups and talking about old jokes. I didn't check my notifications once. I let myself just exist in the afternoon sun without needing to produce a single result.
