Tired of Being the Strong One

Dear Delyara, I am tired of being the strong one. Not in an inspirational way. In a very human, resentful, exhausted way. I am tired of always being the one who understands, the one who forgives, the one who keeps perspective, the one who can survive disappointment without making too much noise about it. Some days I want to be the one who falls apart and gets held without having to explain why. I do not know who I am when I am not coping.
