Tomorrow stayed outside for one hour
Dear Delyara, No lists. No lunches in my head. No timing plans. No “must remember.” No early panic disguised as preparation. Just one hour in the evening where tomorrow did not enter the room with me. I made tea, put on warm socks, sat in the chair, and stayed where I was mentally instead of living ahead. That has become so rare that when it happens, I feel protective of it. Peace for me right now is not dramatic. It is an ordinary room with no future in it for sixty minutes.
