Too Late

Dear Delyara, I’m scared that I’ve wasted too much time. There are people younger than me doing what I once dreamed of. Building businesses. Starting over. Falling in love. Moving countries. Taking risks. And I’m here, still negotiating with fear. I know comparison is poison. I know everyone says life is not a race. But when it’s two in the morning and your mind is cruel, those phrases don’t help much. What scares me most is not failure. It’s reaching the end of my life and realising I spent most of it waiting to feel ready.
