The BondMarriage
We became polite when we should have become honest
Dear Delyara, That is how the marriage started to disappear. Not with explosions. With politeness. We stopped saying risky things. Stopped asking the deeper questions. Stopped disturbing the surface. Stopped being messy enough to be real. We became easier to live with and harder to feel with. That kind of distance is more painful than people think because it arrives so slowly you keep calling it temporary long after it has become the structure.
