We Share a Bed, But Not a Life

Dear Delyara, We sleep next to each other every night. Same bed. Same house. Same routine. But it’s been years since we truly looked at each other. I don’t remember the last time you asked how I really feel. And I don’t remember the last time I answered honestly. I’m scared that if I say the truth out loud— that I’m lonely in this marriage— everything will collapse. So I stay quiet. And I write it here instead.
