When Money Touches Everything

Dear Delyara, I hate how much money controls my mood. A number changes and suddenly the whole day feels unsafe. One unexpected expense and my body reacts as though danger is at the door. I am tired of how quickly finances can turn me into someone fearful and ashamed. People talk about money like it is practical. For me it has always been emotional too. It touches dignity. Freedom. Choice. Fear. Identity. I wish more people understood that stress is not always loud. Sometimes it looks like checking your bank app six times in one evening and pretending you are fine.
